| I heard some folks talking the other day about how they added mileage to their tank of gas... I was wondering if it would work for diesels also... They said, you run your fuel line (coiled) through some engine coolant to heat it up... by the time the fuel runs through the coil surrounded by (hot) coolant, it has seperated the molecules enough to expand the fuel and create less fuel usage for combustion (and quicker combustion)... This seems minimal at best and somewhat of a mess if it ever leaked... I can see this working on a carberated system, but not so much on computer controled fuel mapping... Just wanted some opinions on this... fuel delivery is not something I know too much about... | |

| i wouldnt just seems like to much of a pain for nothing really. The gain you would get anyways would be minimal so i just really dont see the point but thats just me | |

| dont they cool the fuel down to race because it gives you more power , just saying, i have seen guys put their fuel cells in coolers and run down the strip and get pretty good numbers | |

| Yeah, that's for power, not fuel mileage... I assume the molicules seperate and create a faster flash than non-heated fuel... Causing less fuel usage to create your combustion... And, this is totally just me thinking aloud, no written proof of anything here... | |
